dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstractPsikodrama psikolojik tedavide tiyatrodan yararlanan bir grup terapi yöntemidir. J. L. Moreno bu tekniği Birinci Dünya Savaşı yıllarında geliştirdi ve sonrasında verdiği konferanslarla bu yöntemi tanıttı. 1958'de Türkiye'de verdiği konferanstan etkilenen Dr. Abdülkadir Özbek Türkiye'de psikodramayı kurumsallaştıran önemli isimlerden oldu. Yaklaşık yirmi yıl sonra psikodramayı Türkiye'de uygulanmaya başladı. Bu makalede psikodramanın tanımı, Türkiye'ye geliş süreci, enstitülerle kurumsallaşması, psikodramanın gelişimine katkıda bulunan bireyler ve Üstün Dökmen'in kendi geliştirdiği tekniklerden bahsedilecektir.
dc.description.abstractPsychodrama is a group therapy technique which benefits from theatre in psychological treatment. J. L. Moreno developed this new technique and introduced it to people by giving conferences around the world. He gave a psychodrama conference in Turkey in 1958, Abdülkadir Özbek who is impressed by this conference, had an important role in institutionalizing it in Turkey. After, approximately, twenty years later psychodrama is put into practice. In this article, psychodrama's definition, how it is introduced to Turkey, how it is institutionalized, who contributed it's development and the techniques that is created by Üstün Dökmen are going to be discussed.
