İstanbul gece hayatında esen fütüristik bir fırtına: "Clup 2019"

Club 2019, 1993 yazında Ceylan Çaplı, Mehmet Cavcı ve ġeniz Bengüer ortaklığıyla eski bir otomobil mezarlığı arazisine kurulan ve dönemin eğlence sektörüne damga vuran bir gece kulübüdür. Tekno-kulüp ve kulüp-tiyatro konseptleriyle Türkiye'deki "diskotek" algısını değiĢtiren bu kulüp, uzun soluklu olmasa dahi aktif olduğu dönemde İstanbul gece hayatında derin bir iz bırakabilmiştir. Kuruluş süreci, aktif yılları ve kapanışı göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, Club 2019 hem ağırladığı isimlerle, hem marjinal konseptiyle, hem de kendisinden sonra gelen kulüplere olan etkisiyle adını oldukça güçlü ve sansasyonel bi şekilde duyurmuş, Türkiye ve bilhassa İstanbul gece hayatının şekillenmesinde öncü bir kulüp haline gelmiştir.

Club 2019 is a night club which is founded in the summer of 1993 with the partnership of Ceylan Çaplı, Mehmet Cavcı and ġeniz Bengüer on the grounds of an old automobile cemetery. Thanks to its techno-club and club-theater concepts, it has changed the perception of "disco" in Turkey and even if it was not long-standing, it could make a huge impact on the nightlife of Istanbul. Considering the establishment process, active years and closure, this club is important both in terms of the people it hosts, its marginal concept and its impact on the clubs that follow it.
