Sirkeci Garı ve Kalbindeki Orient Express Restaurant

Abstract

HIST 200 dersi kapsamında yapılan, Sirkeci Garı ve Kalbindeki Orient Express Restaurant adlı bu makale ile İstanbul’da 1890 yılında Sirkeci Tren Garı ile aynı zamanda kurulmuş olan Orient Express Restaurant’ın tarihsel gelişiminin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İstanbul’un zengin tarihini içerisinde barındıran Orient Express Restaurant, kuruluşundan itibaren bünyesinde birçok saygın kişiyi ağırlamış, Sirkeci Tren Garında bulunan büyük tarihî öneme sahip bir yerdir. Geçtiğimiz yüzyıl içinde Orient Express Restaurant, benzersiz tatları, ziyaretçi profili ve Sirkeci Tren Garı ile öne çıkmakla beraber İstanbul'un eşsiz tarihine katkı sağlayan köklü bir kuruluş hâline gelmiştir. With this article titled Sirkeci Station and Orient Express Restaurant in its Heart, which was made within the scope of HIST 200 course, it is aimed to examine the historical development of Orient Express Restaurant, which was established in Istanbul in 1890 at the same time as Sirkeci Train Station. The Orient Express Restaurant, which includes Istanbul's rich history, is a venue of significant historical value, located in Sirkeci Train Station, and has entertained many notable persons since its founding. Over the last century, the Orient Express Restaurant has risen to prominence due to its distinct plates and visitor profile. It has become a well-established institution that adds to Istanbul's distinctive heritage.
