Ordu İsmetpaşa ilkokulu: kökler ve değişimler

Abstract

Ordu şehri, tarih boyunca Osmanlı Devleti gibi birçok köklü imparatorluğun himayesi altında bulundu ve bundan dolayı da farklı milletlerden ve kültürlerden oluşan topluluklar Ordu ilinde bir arada yaşadılar. Ordu’da şehirleşme 18. yüzyılın sonlarında başladı. Ordu ili 19. yüzyılın sonunda bölgesel bir merkez haline geldi. Şehir, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun son dönemlerinde eğitim sorunları yaşadı. Zaferimilli Mahallesi'nde bulunan Ordu İsmetpaşa İlkokulu, şehrin en eski ilkokullarından biridir. Kuruluşundan bu yana, zaman zaman farklı binalarda zaman zaman da farklı okullarla birlikte eğitimine devam etti. Tarihi boyunca birçok önemli mezun veren İsmetpaşa İlkokulu, günümüzde de modern ve çağdaş eğitimine hız kesmeden devam etmektedir. Eğitimin yanında spor, sanat ve kültürel faaliyetlere de önem veren okul, kültürlü öğrenciler yetiştirme vizyonuna sadık kalmaktadır. Throughout history, the city of Ordu has been under the patronage of many long-established empires, such as the Ottoman Empire. Therefore, communities from different ethnicities lived together in Ordu. Urbanization began in the late 18th century and Ordu became a local center at the end of the 19th century. The city experienced educational problems in the last periods of the Ottoman Empire. Located in Zaferimilli District, Ordu İsmetpaşa Primary School is one of the oldest primary schools in the city. Since its establishment, it has continued its education sometimes in different buildings and sometimes with different schools. İsmetpaşa Primary School, which has given many important graduates throughout its history, continues its modern and contemporary education without slowing down. The school, which attaches importance to sports, arts and cultural activities as well as education, remains true to its vision of raising cultured students.
