Abstract
Meskhetian Turks are a community that was exiled from the Meskhetian region in Georgia in 1944. In this process, many people lost their lives both in World War II and during the exile.. The people who were deported from their own regions to regions such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in the 1944 exile were subjected to discrimination from time to time in these lands. In this context, in the study based on the story of Süleyman Vehbi who is one of the Meskhetian Turks and his family, the lives of the Ahıska people before and after the exile, the Fergana incident and the acceptance of the Meskhetian people to Turkey were examined. In addition, the experiences of Süleyman Vehbi's family in exile, his life in Samarkand from his birth until his arrival in Turkey and the process of his arrival in Turkey were examined. Finally, today's life of Süleyman Vehbi and his family and the living conditions of Meskhetian Turks living in different parts of the world are discussed.
