dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractDalin, 1983 yılında Kemal Karaağaç tarafından Kopaş Kozmetik şirketi çatısı altında kurulan bir markadır. İlk çıkışından itibaren, özellikle göz yakmayan şampuan formülüyle çocuklu ailelerin gözde markalarından biri olan Dalin, her geçen sene kozmetik ürün piyasasında kendi yerini güçlendirmiştir. Piyasadaki yerini sadece beğenilen ürünleri ile değil aynı zamanda yaratıcı reklamları ile korumuştur. Bu güçlenen marka Türkiye pazarında, özellikle Johnson’s Baby gibi global bir marka ile rekabete girmeyi başarmıştır. Şirketin büyümesinin ardından, bebek şampuanları dışında başka ürünlerini de piyasaya süren Dalin, güçlü bir şekilde büyüyerek global pazara açılmıştır. Bu araştırmada Dalin’in kurucusu Kemal Karaağaç ve eski Kopaş Kozmetik İşletme Direktörünü Mehmet Atalay’ın verdiği bilgilerin yanında, Dalin hakkında yapılmış haberler ve makaleler kullanılacaktır.
dc.description.abstractDalin is a brand that was founded by Kemal Karaağaç in 1983 under the Kopaş Cosmetics company. Since its inception, Dalin has become a popular brand among families with children, especially due to its shampoo formula that does not sting the eyes. Every year, Dalin has strengthened its position in the cosmetic product market. The brand has maintained its position not only through its well-liked products but also through its creative advertisements. This growing brand has successfully competed with global brands like Johnson & Johnson in the Turkish market. After the company's growth, Dalin expanded into other products besides baby shampoos and has expanded strongly into the global market. This research will utilize information provided by Dalin's founder Kemal Karaağaç and former Kopaş Cosmetics Operations Director, as well as news articles and publications about Dalin."
