dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstract1991 yılında iki yüzden fazla kişi ile Ankara'da kurulan TÜRSAK Vakfı (Türkiye Sinema ve Audio Visüel Kültür Vakfı), sinema üzerine yaptığı festival, yarışma, panel ve söyleşi gibi eğitici etkinlikler ile Türk sinemasının gelişmesinde aktif rol oynamış bir vakıftır. TÜRSAK Vakfı, İstanbul'dadır. Vakıf, geçmişte Altın Portakal Film Festivali gibi önemli etkinliklere sponsorluk işlevini üstlenmiştir.
dc.description.abstractTurkey Cinema and Audiovisual Culture Foundation (TURCAC) is a foundation that has been in an active role of developing Turkish national cinema with its outgoing festivals worldwide, adding its further organizations like competitions, panels and exchanges of cinema culture. The foundation has been founded on 1991 with more than 200 members in Ankara and later migrated to Istanbul where it is located right now also. This charitable foundation also served in significant events like Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival with its beneficial sponsorship.
