| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | |

| dc.description.abstract | Futbolla, küçük yaşta oynadığı mahalle maçlarında tanışan Bülent Korkmaz'ın kariyeri Galatasaray'ın altyapısına katılmasıyla başladı. Korkmaz, gençlik yıllarından başlayarak kariyerinin sonuna kadar Galatasaray'da forma giydi. 1985-2005 yılları boyunca takımıyla yaşadığı şampiyonlukların ve kazandığı başarıların yanısıra zaman zaman kulüp yönetimiyle anlaşmazlıklar da yaşadı. Aynı zamanda Türkiye A Milli Futbol takımında da forma giyen Bülent Korkmaz, dünya üçüncülüğüne ulaşan milli takımın da kaptanıydı. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Bülent Korkmaz met with football in the streets while playing with friends. Korkmaz has played in Galatasaray from his young age until his career is over. His professional football player career is started after accepted to Galatasaray infrastructure team. He played on the same team from 1985 to2005.Hesome times had problems and arguments with the teamand club management. He also played in Turkey's national team. He achieved success in both teams. | |
