1993 üniversite Reformu ve İstanbul üniversitesi

Artık çağa ayak uyduramadığı düşünülen Darülfünun, 1933 üniversite Reformu ile kapatılıp yerine İstanbul üniversitesi açılmıştır. Reformun eğitimsel bir eylem mi yoksa siyasi temele dayanan bir eylem mi olduğu tartışmaya açıktır. Bu araştırmayı yaparken Albert Malche’nin Raporu, Hakkı Baltacıoğlu ve 1932-1934 arasında yayınlanan dönemin gazeteleri incelenerek reformun arkasında yatan nedenler ve Darülfünun’un o dönemdeki yapısı araştırılmıştır.

Darülfünun, where is thought to be unable to keep up with the times, was closed down with the 1933 University Reform, and Istanbul University was opened instead. It is open to debate whether the reform is an educational act or an action based on political grounds. While conducting this research, Albert Malche's Report, Hakkı Baltacıoğlu and the periodicals published between 1932-1934 were examined and the reasons behind the reform and the structure of Darülfünun at that time were investigated.
