1992-1993 sezonu 30 Mayıs Ankaragücü-Galatasaray maçındaki şike ve teşvik iddiaları

1992 – 1993 sezonunda son haftaya kadar şampiyon belli olmadı ve kimin şampiyon olacağının kesinleşmesi son haftaki maçların skorlarına göre belirlenecekti. Son hafta olan 30. haftada ilk iki sıradaki takımlardan Galatasaray, Ankara’da Ankaragücü ile, Beşiktaş ise İstanbul’da Gençlerbirliği ile maç yapacaktı. İki takımda son haftaya aynı puanla girmişti lakin Galatasaray’ın Beşiktaş’a göre iki averaj fazlası vardı, bu da Galatasaray’ı bir adım öne geçiriyordu. 30 Mayıs Pazar günü oynanacak iki maç da saat 15.30’da başlayacaktı, bu nedenle iki takım da maçlar bitene kadar şampiyonluğu garantileyemiyordu. Bu belirsizlikten dolayı iki takımın da olabildiğince fazla averaj sağlaması gerekiyordu. Galatasaray, Ankaragücü’nü 8 – 0 mağlup ederken Beşiktaş, Gençlerbirliği’ni 3 – 1 yenmiş ve bu skorlar sonucu Galatasaray şampiyon olmuştur. Galatasaray’ın bu galibiyeti şike ve teşvik iddialarını beraberinde getirdi. Bu araştırmada sezona genel bir bakış yapılmış ve Ankaragücü – Galatasaray maçı ile ilgili şike/teşvik iddiaları incelenmiştir.

The champion was not certain until the last week in the 1992 – 1993 Turkish League season and it would be determined after the results of last week’s games. In the 30th week, which is the last week, team in the first position, Galatasaray, was going to play with Ankaragücü in Ankara and second team in league table Beşiktaş was going to play with Gençlerbirliği in İstanbul. Both of the teams had same points in the beginning of the last week. Yet, Galatasaray had two more average points than Beşiktaş, which put Galatasaray in a advantageous position. Both of the matches were going to start at 3.30 pm on 30th of May. Since both matches were going to start at the same time both teams couldn’t guarantee to be the champion. Results of the games were: Ankaragücü – Galatasaray: 0 – 8, Beşiktaş – Gençlerbirliği: 3 – 1. As a result of these scores Galatasaray won the championship. However, the result of the Ankaragücü – Galatasaray game have created match-fixing and incentive claims in public and media. On this paper, a general outlook of the season is given and the match-fixing and incentive claims were examined.
