| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, Türk müzik sektöründe kaset teknolojisinin gelişimi ve kasetçilik mesleği mercek altına alınmıştır. Bunu yapabilmek için önce müzik teknolojisinin yakın tarihine bakıp kaset teknolojisinin konumu ortaya konmuştur. Ardından kaset teknolojisinin gelişimi ve etkileri incelenmiştir. Ancak bu incelemelerin ardından kaset teknolojisinin ve onun doğal sonucu olan kasetçilik mesleğinin seyrine odaklanılmıştır. Böylece müzik sektörünün tarihindeki bir dönem detaylıca incelenmiştir. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the development of cassette technology in the Turkish music industry and the profession of cassette making are in the focus. To accomplish this, firstly it was looked at the close transfer of music technology and disclosed the position of cassette technology. After that, cassette technology advanced and its consequences were put into practice. However, following these examinations, attention turned to the development of tape technology and its logical offspring, the tape-making industry. Thus, a period in the history of the music industry was examined in detail. | |
