Başarsoft ve Türkiye'de navigasyonun evrimi

Abstract

Bu makalenin amacı, Türkiye'de navigasyon sistemlerinin geliştirmelerinin, ve amaclarinin daha iyi anlamak, ayrıca Türkiye'nin harita sistemlerinin Piri Reis'in Kitab-ı Bahriye'sinden Başarsoft'un Google ve Yandex ile ortaklığına, haritalar ve navigasyon yapmaya nasıl geçtiğini araştırmaktır. Bu arastirma ,Türkiye'nin en önemli navigasyon sistemi tabanlı şirketlerinden biri olan Başarsoft'un kurucularından biri olan Ahmet Dabanlı ile röportaj yapılarak gerceklestirildi. Başarsoft'un kurulmasıyla Türkiye, “Küresel Konumlandırma Sistemi” (GPS) sahnesine geç kaldığı için Türkiye için navigasyon ve haritalama sisteminde yeni hedeflere ulaşabildi, ve bu sistemleri, tüm Türkiye vatandaşları için erişilebilir, kolay ve etkili oldugunu gosterdi. Başarsoft, navigasyon sistemlerini ve uygulamalarını sürekli geliştirerek Türkiye'de büyük bir isim yaptı ve bu yazıda daha ayrıntılı olarak incelenecektir.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate and further understand the growth and purpose of navigation systems in Turkey, as well as investigating how Turkey’s mapping systems went from Piri Reis’s Kitab-ı Bahriye, to Başarsofts partnership with Google and Yandex, making maps and navigation systems, accessible, easy and effective for citizens all over Turkey. This was done by interviewing Ahmet Dabanli, one of the founders for one of Turkeys most important navigation system based companies, Başarsoft. With the founding of Başarsoft, Turkey was able to reach new goals in navigation and mapping system for Turkey, as Turkey was a latecomer into the “Global Positioning System” (GPS) scene. By constantly improving their navigation systems and applications Başarsoft has made a big name for themselves in Turkey, which will be explored in further depth in this paper.
