Ankara Kız Teknik Yüksek Öğretmen Okulunun 1950-1980 yılları arasında Türkiye moda anlayışı üzerine etkisi

Cumhuriyetin ilanıyla değişen Türkiye’de, kadınının rolünün belirlenmesinde dönemin moda anlayışı etkili olmuştur. Kurulan yeni enstitü ve okullarda verilen moda eğitimleri, bu figürün gelişiminde önemli rol oynamıştır. Bu çalışmada, söz konusu okullar arasında önemli bir yere sahip olan Ankara Kız Teknik Yüksek Öğretmen Okulunun Türk kadın figürüne etkisi, okulda verilen eğitim ve yöntemler ışığında açıklanacaktır. Okulun tarihçesi, felsefesi ve Türk kadınlarının moda anlayışına etkisiyle beraber 1950-1980 yılları arasındaki gelişmeler de göz önünde bulundurularak kadınının toplumdaki yerinin ön plana çıkışı incelenecektir. Modernleşme ve yenilikçi eğitim yöntemleri altında Ankara Kız Teknik Yüksek Öğretmen Okulunda öğrenim görmüş, sonra da öğretmen olarak görev almış Özdil Turla’nın deneyim ve bilgileri ışığında 1950-1980 yıllarda verilen moda eğitiminin Türkiye’de kadının modernleşme sürecindeki rolünün aydınlatılması amaçlanmaktadır.

The fashion understanding of the period was influential in determining the role of the Turkish woman, changing with the proclamation of the Republic. The fashion training given in the new institutes and schools played an important role in the development of this figure. In this study, the impact of Ankara Girls' Technical Higher Teacher Training School, which has an important place among these schools, on the Turkish woman figure will be explained in the light of the education and methods given at the school. The history of the school, its philosophy and its impact on the fashion sense of Turkish women, as well as the foregrounding of the place of Turkish women in society, taking into account the developments between 1950-1980, will be examined. In the light of the experience and knowledge of Özdil Turla, who studied at Ankara Girls' Technical Higher Teacher Training School under modernization and innovative education methods and then worked as a teacher, it is aimed to illuminate the role of fashion education given in 1950-1980 in the modernization process of women in Turkey.
