dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractProjemizde belirlenen örnek şirketin, Eti Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.ş’nin ticari faaliyetleri dışında kalan, başta şirketin bulunduğu Eskişehir ili ardından tüm Türkiye’deki sosyal ve kültürel alandaki çalışmaları incelenmiştir. çalışmanın içeriğini ETİ-Eskişehir halkı ilişkisi, işveren-çalışan ilişkisi, şirketin eğitim, kültür, sosyal, spor, sağlık alanında gerçekleştirdiği etkinliklerin çıktıları; öncelikle Eskişehir bazında ardından Türkiye genelinde değerlendirilmiştir. çalışma birincil, ikincil ve sözlü kaynaklar içermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractETİ is selected as a subject of this project, which is a company that spends effort on implementing many projects in Eskişehir and Turkey in order to contribute to their social, cultural, educational level. The company works on developing and tracking these projects despite from economic interest. This paper investigates to what extend ETİ achieved success in developing values of citizens of Eskişehir and Turkey. The paper includes the analysis of ETİ- Eskişehir relationship, employer- employee relationships at ETİ, the outcome of projects of ETİ which are based on education, culture, social, health and sports; first with Eskişehir and then Turkey’s perspective. The project involves, first hand,second hand and oral sources.en_US
