dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractTürkiye Kalkınma Vakfı, 1969 senesinde kurulmuş olan ve kırsal kalkınma alanında faaliyet gösteren ilk sivil kalkınma kuruluşudur. Geçmişten bugüne kadar yerel alandaki faaliyetlerin genişletilmesi ve faaliyet yetkilerinin yerelleştirilmesi üzerine çalışmalar yapmıştır. Türkiye Kalkınma Vakfı’nın genişletmeyi hedeflediği bu faaliyetlerden birisi de arıcılıktır. Merkezi Ankara-Kazan olan ve 1978’de kurulan Türkiye Kalkınma Vakfı entegre arıcılık tesisleri, Türkiye’deki arıcılığın verim potansiyelini maksimuma çıkarmayı hedeflemekte ve buna yönelik projeler yürütmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractDevelopment Foundation of Turkey has been founded in 1969 and is the first civil organization that works in the field of rural development. From past to present, it has worked on the expansion of activities in the local area and the localization of operating powers. One of the fields DFT works on is beekeeping. DFT integrated beekeeping facilities that has been founded in 1978 are centered in Ankara- Kazan and plan on reaching the best potential for Turkish beekeeping and are carrying out projects fort his goal.en_US
