Yılmaz Büyükerşen’in hayatı ve çalışmaları

Eskişehir’de doğan Yılmaz Büyükerşen, ilkokul ve lise eğitimini aynı şehirde almış, üniversite için birkaç üniversite arasında gidip geldikten sonra yine Eskişehir’de kalmış ve Eskişehir İktisadi ve Ticari Bilimler Akademisini tamamlamıştır. Mezun olduktan sonra Eskişehir İktisadi ve Ticari Bilimler Akademisi’nde asistan olmuş, sonra başkan yardımcılığı ve başkanlık yapmıştır. Daha sonra iki dönem Anadolu Üniversitesi rektörlüğü yapmış ve açıköğretim uygulamasını başlatmıştır. 1999’dan beri Eskişehir Belediye Başkanlığı görevini yürütmektedir.

Yılmaz Büyükerşen who was born in Eskişehir had taken his primary and high school education in the same city, even though there were other universities in question, he stayed in Eskişehir and he had studied at Eskişehir İktisadi ve Ticari İlimler Akademisi. After his graduation, he first became the assistant to the Finance department, then the assistant academy president, and the president of the academy. Later, he served as rector of Anadolu University for two periods and he started to “açıköğretim” application. He has been serving as the mayor of Eskişehir since 1999.
