Misafir işçiden vatandaşa: Almanya’daki gurbetçilerin göçü ve uyum süreci

Abstract

Türkiye’den Almanya’ya gerçekleşen işçi göçü üzerinden yarım yüzyıldan fazla zaman geçmesine rağmen hala önemini ve güncelliğini koruyan bir olaydır. Bu olayın öznesi olan Türk işçilerinin ve ailelerinin göç ettikleri ülkeye uyum süreçleri, bu araştırmada, göçün başladığı dönemin siyasi ve ekonomik durumundan başlanarak dönemi yaşamış ve uyum sürecinden farklı şekillerde etkilenmiş kişiler ile röportaj yapılararak incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda uyum sürecinin niteliği ve uygulanma şekline ilişkin çeşitli bilgiler elde edinilmiştir. Despite the fact that more than half a century has passed since the migration of workers from Turkey to Germany, it is an event that still maintains its importance and actuality. Adaptation processes of Turkish workers and their families, who are the subject of this event, to the country they migrated to, were examined in this study, starting from the political and economic situation of the period when the migration started, by interviewing people who lived through the period and were affected by the adaptation process in different ways. As a result of the research, various information was obtained about the nature of the harmonization process and the way it was implemented.
