Kavaklıdere ve Bahçelievler semtlerindeki kamusal alan isimleri ve üzerinde yapılan değişikliklere dair mekân-politik çıkarımlar

Abstract

Bu çalışma, toplumsal düzlemde kent hayatının getirdiği kamusal alan tartışmasına başkent Ankara semtleri üzerinden somut destekli bir bakış açısına ulaşmayı hedefler. Kavaklıdere ve Bahçelievler semtlerinin kamusal alan isimlendirmeleri üzerinden dönemsel mekân-politik çıkarımları tartışır. Kamu ile kamusal alan ilişkisini kent hafızası, sosyal yapı ve kültürel yönelim vehçelerinden somut örneklemlere dayanmak üzere inceler. Kamusal alan tartışmasını ele alırken Habermas’ın kamusallık üzerine görüşlerini baz alır. Spesifik olarak Türkiye’deki siyasi ve diplomatik yapıyı, bu yapının kamusal alan isimlerine tezahürünü ve tarihsel gelişimini göz önünde bulundurur. Kamusal alan isimlerinin, bu isimlerin değiştirilmesinin yahut yok olmasının toplumsal düzeyde yankılarını ele alarak sosyolojik bir analiz ortaya koymayı amaçlar. Bu analizin sonunda, kamusal alan isimlerinin değiştirilmesinin, toplumsal hafızayı yok ettiği ve toplumsal bilinci oturmuş bir yerleşke dahilinde kabul görmediği kanısına varır.

The aim of this study is to reach a concrete supportive point of view on the public sphere brought about by urban life on the social level through the capital, Ankara. Discusses periodic space-political conjectures on the public sphere naming of Kavaklıdere and Bahçelievler districts. Examines the relationship between public and public sphere based on concrete examples from urban memory, social structure and cultural orientation. Uses Habermas’s view on publicity as the base on the discussion of the public sphere. This study specifically focuses on the diplomatic and political structure in Turkey, the manifestation of the public sphere names on the public and the historical development of publicity perception in Turkey. It aims to reveal a sociological analysis by considering the echoes of social domain nouns, the changing or disappearing of these names. At the end of this analysis it comes to the conclusion that the replacement of public domain names has destroyed social memory and has not been accepted within a social conscious settlement
