Asırlık bir eğitim çınarına aşılama: Kabataş Erkek Lisesi'nin karma eğitime geçiş süreci

Abstract

Bu çalışmada II. Abdülhamid aracılığı ile kurulan Kabataş Erkek Lisesi'nin kuruluş yılı olan 1908 yılından başlayarak tarihinden, karma eğitime geçişinden ve yaşadığı diğer fiziksel ve eğitimsel değişim süreçlerinden bahsedilmiştir. Okulun kurulduğu dönem olan Geç Osmanlı dönemindeki eğitim reformlarından ve Cumhuriyet dönemindeki karma eğitime geçiş denemeleri ile başlayarak kronolojik sıralama ile okulun tarihsel süreci anlatılmıştır. Türkiye'nin eğitimsel reformları ile Kabataş'ın geçirdiği değişimler arasında bağlantı kurulması ve bahsi geçen dönemlerdeki şartların anlaşılması hedeflenmiştir.

In this study, it is being expressed that the process of the transition to coeducaiton system and the other physical and educational changes of Kabataş Erkek Lisesi which is founded by II. Abdülhamid in 1908. By starting the expression from education reforms in the Late Ottoman period, which is the era of foundation of school, and coeducation system in the Republican period, the historical process of Kabataş Erkek Lisesi has been told according to the chronological order. The aim of this study is that establishing a connection between educational reforms of Turkey and the changes that Kabataş Erkek Lisesi has gone through and it is also aimed to understand the periods that are mentioned.
