Türkiye'de diyabet hastalığının tarihçesi ve tedavisi

Abstract

Diyabet, dünya genelinde insan sağlığını tehdit eden kronik bir hastalıktır. Türkiye’de de 20. yüzyılın başlarından itibaren modern tıp çalışmalarının artmasıyla diyabet alanında önemli gelişmeler kaydedilmiştir. Bu araştırma makalesinde Türkiye’deki gelişmeler baz alınarak 1930 öncesinden günümüze kadar olan süreçte diyabetin tanı ve tedavi yöntemlerindeki gelişmeler ve ilgili kurumların çabaları kapsamlı bir şekilde incelenmektedir. Bu araştırmada diyabetin tarihi arka planı, Türkiye’deki süreci, tedavisinde yaşanan gelişmeler ve tedavi süreçleri gibi konuları ele alınmıştır. Diabetes is a chronic disease that poses a significant threat to human health worldwide. In Turkey, significant advancements in the field of diabetes have been achieved, especially with the rise of modern medical studies since the early 20th century. This article comprehensively examines the developments in the diagnosis and treatment methods of diabetes. Hence, it also examines the efforts of relevant institutions within Turkey's framework from the pre-1930s period to the present. Moreover, it introduces the historical background of diabetes, its progression in Turkey, and advancements in treatment methods and processes, this study serves as a comprehensive investigation into these topics.
