Kanunla kurulmuş ilk sanayi ve teknoloji geliştirme vakfı: Türkiye Teknoloji Geliştirme Vakfı

Bu makalede Türkiye’de kanunla kurulan vakıf statüsündeki dört vakıftan biri olan Türkiye Teknoloji Geliştirme Vakfı (TTGV)’nın kuruluşundan itibaren yaptığı işler incelenmiştir. Türkiye Teknoloji Geliştirme Vakfı, 1991 yılında kamu ve özel sektör ortaklığında kurulmuş olup, özerk bir yapıya sahiptir. Kanunla kurulan bu dört vakıftan yalnızca TTGV sanayi ve teknoloji alanında çalışmaktadır. Kurulduğu tarihten itibaren hem teknoloji ve çevre alanlarında AR-GE çalışmalarını desteklemiş, hem TÜBİTAK ve TÜSİAD ile birlikte iş birliği yaparak Teknoloj Ödüllerini hayata geçirmiş, teknoparkların kurulmasında öncülük etmiş ve hala da teknolojik gelişmeleri takip eden ve sürdürülebilirlik üzerine çalışan bir vakıftır.

In this article, the works of the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV), which is one of the four foundations established by law in Turkey, have been examined since its establishment. The Technology and Development Foundation of Turkey was established in 1991 with the partnership of the public and private sectors and has an autonomous structure. Of these four foundations established by law, only TTGV works in the field of industry and technology. Since its establishment, it has supported R&D studies in the fields of technology and environment, implemented the Technology Awards in cooperation with TÜBİTAK and TÜSİAD, pioneered the establishment of technoparks, and is still a foundation that follows technological developments and works on sustainability.
