| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |

Aynı zamanda 1930-1950 yıllarında Türkiye'nin siyasi durumunun köy enstitülerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Köy enstitülerinin öğrencilerinin siyasi düşüncelerine etkileri incelenmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | In this research, Huriye Saraç's education in Village Institutes and her life as a teacher are being researched. Firstly, her life as a student in Village Institutes, the time period that she starts her career, and her life as a teacher are explained. Also the political situation in Turkey at the time and its effects to Village Institutes from 1930 to 1950 is researched. The effects of the Village Instutes on the political views of the students are investigated. Lastly, Huriye Saraç's current life situation is explained. | en_US |
