dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstract124 yıllık köklü geçmişinde yetiştirdiği sayısız diplomat ve sanatçıyla İzmir’in simgelerinden biri olan İzmir Atatürk Lisesi’nin kuruluş amacına, mimari yapısına, eğitim vizyonuna, yıllar içinde geçirdiği değişimlere ve önemli yerlere gelmiş mezunların gözünden İAL’nin yaşamlarına kattığı değerlere değinilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of foundation of İzmir Ataturk High School; which is the symbol of İzmir for the actors and diplomats it has educated in its’ 124 years long history, it’s architecture, the changes it underwent within years and the views about İAL from the eyes of the graduates that came to good positions the values it added to their lives are pointed out.en_US
