Türkiye'de kurumsal haberleşme ve: Karel Holding

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti'nde ve milli mücadele yıllarında ve sonrasında Türkiye'de haberleşme gelişmeleri ve faaliyetleri devlet ekseninde yaşanmıştır. Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de haberleşme geçmişinden bahsedilmiş, Karel Holding'in 1986'da kuruluşu ve bugünlere gelişi, Türkiye'nin dünyada başlayan kurumsal haberleşme devrine Karel ile yetişmesi ve bu yerli şirket sayesinde bu alanda kendine yetebilir hale gelmesi anlatılmıştır. Bu somut örnek çerçevesinde elektronik kurumsal haberleşme teknolojilerinin büyük yerli bir şirket tarafından sağlanmasının haberleşme güvenliği ve Türkiye'nin ulusal güvenliği için kritik olduğu ve Karel'in bu alandaki varlığının Türkiye'nin ekonomisine kattığı değer ile kurumsal haberleşmenin, bilgi teknolojisi üretmenin Türkiye'nin geleceğindeki önemi açıklanmıştır. In the Ottoman Empire and during and after the national struggles of Turkey, correspondence has always been entrusted to the state. In this study, it has been narrated how telecommunications have progressed over time in Turkey, how Karel Holding was founded and prospered, how Turkey has kept up with the manufacturing of business telecommunication technologies in the world and became self-sufficient in this area of need through Karel. It has been explained how critical it is for Turkey's communication security and national security to have businesses' and government institutions' telecommunication provided by a major domestic company. It has been examined how it adds value to Turkey's economy and the significance of Karel and business communications in Turkey's future.
