| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |

| dc.description.abstract | In this research, it is aimed to examine the championship lost by Trabzonspor in the 1995-96 Turkish Super League season and its effects. Within the scope of the research, the establishment of Trabzonspor, the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe rivalry, the bond of Trabzonspor with its supporters, and the effect of the lost championship on the team and the fans were examined. While examining the 1995-96 season and Trabzonspor, written and oral sources were used, including newspaper archives, books giving information about the period, and interviews with people who witnessed the 1995-96 season. | en_US |
