This article examines and analyzes the change and transformation of rock music through the Manhattan Bar and, accordingly, why it did not turn into a club. It has been seen how the rock music culture has evolved after the events that were considered bad in the past. In addition, Manhattan, one of the rock bars that did not turn into a club, is known as one of the important bars that continues today with its unique attitude and style. This research article presents the founding process of the Manhattan bar, why it did not become a club, and how it compares to other bars. At the same time, this research article sheds light on the change of rock music in Turkey so that we can understand rock music better. At this point, the fact that Manhattan does not break its own line by not keeping up with popularity and, unlike other bars, only plays rock music, has made the bar unique.
