dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstract1958 yılında İstanbul’da doğan ünlü ortodontist Enis Güray eğitim hayatına Saint Joseph Erkek Lisesi ile başlayıp Hacettepe Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi ile tamamladıktan sonra kariyerini ortodonti alanında devam ettirdi. Çeşitli üniversitelerde ders verdikten sonra kendi muayenehanesini açtı ve gelişmekte olan ortodonti dünyasına üç değerli icat kattı. Bu icatlar sayesinde ününü Türkiye’de ve dünyada tanıttı. Başarılarının yanı sıra 2004 yılında, ihtiyaç sahibi çocukları sporla tanıştırıp burs imkanları sağlayan bir vakıf kurdu. Enis Güray halen muayenehanesinde hastalarına hizmet verirken yeni icatları üzerinde çalışmalarını sürdürüyor.
dc.description.abstractThe famous orthodontist Enis Güray who borns in 1958 in Istanbul started his education life with Saint Joseph High School and completed with Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry. He has continued his career in orthodontics and then he opened a private medical clinic and he added three valuable inventions to the developing world of orthodontics. With this inventions, he introduced himself in both Turkey and all around the world. In addition to his accomplishments, in 2004, he established a foundation that introduced sport to children and provided scholarship opportunities for them who are in need. Enis Güray continues to work on his new inventions as well as serving her patients in his medical clinic.
