Zariski k-plets via dessins d ' enfants

Abstract

We construct exponentially large collections of pairwise distinct equisingular deformation families of irreducible plane curves sharing the same sets of singularities. The fundamental groups of all curves constructed are abelian. © Swiss Mathematical Society.
