dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | en_US |

dc.description.abstract | Vakıfbank, 11 Ocak 1954 tarihinde 6219 sayılı özel kanun ve Adnan Menderes’in özel talimatı dahilinde 50.000.000 TL sermaye ile anonim ortaklık olarak kuruldu. Vakıfbank kuruluş tarihinden itibaren; reel sektörün yanında olmakla beraber bireysel anlamda da vatandaşın maddi ihtiyaçlarını karşılamış, birçok sosyal sorumluluk projesinde yer almış ve 1986 yılından beri voleybol sporunda dünya çapında büyük gelişmeler kaydetmiştir. Günümüzde Vakıfbank’ın sunduğu çağdaş bankacılık ve ürün hizmetleri, kurumsal, ticari, tarım ve yerel yönetim bankacılığının yanı sıra bireysel ve özel bankacılık alanlarını da kapsamaktadır. | en_US |

From the foundation date of Vakıfbank; Besides the real sector, it also met the financial needs of the citizens individually, took part in many social responsibility projects, and since 1986 has made great progress in volleyball sports worldwide.
