dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada prefabrikasyonun Türkiye’de ortaya çıkması ve bunda etkili olan nedenler, ilk örnekleri, kullanımının ve üretiminin yaygınlaşması incelenmiştir. Bu süreç içerisindeki zorluklar, sosyal ve ekonomik katkıları ve prefabrik kullanımının yaygınlaşması amacıyla yürütülen etkinlikler üzerinde durulmuştur. Araştırma sürecinde yazılı ve sözlü bazı kaynaklara başvurulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this research, it is examined how prefabrication has had a place in Turkey’s construction industry and its reasons, the first examples, how it is utilized, and how its manufacturing has become widespread. This paper also elaborates on the challenges faced during this process, social and economic contributions that prefabrication has, and various events organized in order to encourage the use of prefabrication technology. Some written and verbal sources were used during the research process.en_US
