Kapalıçarşı’dan uçan baykuş: Sezgin Group ve So Chic

Abstract

Bu makale, en eski sanat ve zanaat dallarından biri olan kuyumculuk sektöründe faaliyet gösteren Sezgin Group ve bünyesindeki ünlü mücevherat markası So CHIC markasını mercek altına almaktadır. Makale, Türkiye’deki kuyumculuk ve gümüşçülük sektörüne odaklanarak okuyucuya genel bir perspektif kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Sezgin Grup ve So CHIC markasının tanıtıldığı, şirketin açıldığı tarihten bugüne kadarki serüvenini konu alan bu makale, şirketin de ilk mağazasının konumlandığı Türkiye’nin en eski ve büyük çarşılarından bir olan Kapalıçarşı’daki kuyumculuk geleneği hakkında bilgi vermiştir.

This article examines the Sezgin Group, which operates in the jewelry industry, one of the oldest branches of art and craft, and the famous jewelry brand So CHIC. The article aims to give a general perspective to the reader by focusing on the jewelry and silversmithing industry in Turkey. This article, in which the Sezgin Group and So CHIC brand was introduced, and the adventure of the company from the date of its establishment until today, gave information about the jewelry tradition in the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest bazaars in Turkey, where the company's first store is located.
