Köy enstitülerinin öğretmen okullarına evrilmesinden sonra Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulundaki eğitim süreci

27 Ocak 1954 gün ve 6234 sayılı yasa ile Köy Enstitüleri’nin tamamen öğretmen okullarına dönüştürülmesiyle Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu resmen faaliyete geçmiştir. Bunun sonucunda müfredatta köklü değişikliklere gidilmesinden dolayı eğitim sürecinde farklılıklar yaşanmıştır. Bu araştırmada Van Erciş Köy Enstitüsü’nün Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu’na evrilmesinden sonraki dönem incelenmektedir. Çalışmada Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu’nun tarihçesine değinen gazete haberinden, köy enstitülerinin öğretmen okullarına dönüştürülmesi ve dönüşüm sonrası ortaya çıkan eğitim modelini ele alan kitaplardan ve makalelerden yararlanılmıştır. Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu’nda eğitim gören Orhan Ayhan ile röportaj yapılmıştır. Röportaj sırasında Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu’nun eğitim müfredatı ve köy enstitülerinden dönüşümüyle bünyesinde barındırdığı enstitü izleri hakkında bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmayla köy enstitüsünden dönüşen Van Alpaslan Öğretmen Okulu’nun Türk Eğitim Sistemi’ndeki yerinin belirtilmesi, eğitim politikalarının daha net anlaşılması ve dönüştürülen öğretmen okullarının köy enstitüleriyle arasındaki eğitim sürecinin karşılaştırmasının yapılması amaçlanmıştır.

Van Alpaslan Teacher's School officially became operational with the transformation of village institutes into teacher schools with the law numbered 6234 on January 27, 1954. As a result, there have been differences in the education process due to the radical changes in curriculum. In this study, the period after the transformation of Van Erciş Village Institute to Van Alpaslan Teachers' School is examined. In the study, the newspaper article mentioning the history of Van Alpaslan Teacher's School, the books and articles dealing with the transformation of village institutes into teacher schools and the education model that emerged after the transformation were used. An interview was conducted with Orhan Ayhan, who was educated at Van Alpaslan Teachers' School. During the interview, information was obtained about the education curriculum of the Van Alpaslan Teacher's School and the traces of the village institute after its transformation. With this study, it is aimed to indicate the place of Van Alpaslan Teacher's School, which was transformed from village institute, in the Turkish Education System, to understand education policies more clearly and to compare the educational process of village institutes and teacher schools that are transformed from village institutes.
