1987 Migros Grevi

Abstract

Bu makale, 1987 Migros Grevi’ni incelemektedir. Bu grev, Türkiye’de zincir market işçileri tarafından düzenlenen ilk grev olmakla beraber 12 Eylül 1980 askeri darbesinden sonra düzenlenmiş olan ilk grevlerden bir tanesidir. Makalede ilk olarak grevin işveren tarafı Migros ve grevci tarafı TEZ-KOOP-İŞ sendikası hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonrasında grev öncesinde ülkenin çalışan kesiminin durumu, işçi/işveren ilişkileri ve hükümetin sendikacılığa tutumu incelenmiştir. Grev esnasında yaşananlar, yazılı ve sözlü kaynaklar aracılığıyla derlenmiş; greve çıkan işçi, sendika, hükumet ve işveren arasında yaşanan çatışmalar, ve sendikanın kendi içindeki çatışmalar anlatılmıştır. Makale sonunda ise grevin sonucu ve grev sonrası sendika içinde yaşanan değişikliklere yer verilmiştir.

This article analyzes the 1987 Migros Strike. Although this strike was the first one organized by chain market workers in Turkey, it was one of the first ones organized after the military coup of September 12, 1980. In the article, firstly, information about the employer side of the strike, Migros, and the striker side, TEZ-KOOP-İŞ union. Then, the situation of the working part of the country before the strike, the employee/employer relations, and the government's attitude towards unionism was examined. What happened during the strike was compiled through written and oral sources; The conflicts between the striking worker, the union, the government, and the employer, and the conflicts within the union itself are explained. At the end of the article, the strike's result and the union changes after the strike is given.
