As a result of the wars in the Caucasus region, Tsarist Russia succeeded in establishing dominance in the region and implemented imperialist and oppressive policies against the people of the region. The people of the Caucasus, who did not want to leave the land where they have lived on, started to resist Russia and these struggles between the parties lasted for many years. The Russians managed to establish dominance in the region and forced the people of the region to migrate. There were Circassians among the people of the Caucasus who migrated, and most of the Circassians immigrated to the Ottoman Empire. Circassians were settled in various parts of the country with the settlement policy implemented by the Ottoman Empire. One of the Circassian families who migrated from the Caucasus was the Kanbolat Family. In this study, the lives of the Circassians in the Caucasus region, the Great Circassian Exile of 1864 and the expulsion of the Circassians to the Ottoman State and the lives of the Kanbolat Family after they were settled in the Ottoman State were explained.en_US
