Nesilden nesile Köktürk Saatçisi ve Cumhuriyet dönemi sonrası Türkiye'de saatçiliğin tarihi

Abstract

Bu makalede gün geçtikçe kaybolmaya yüz tutan mesleklerden biri olan saatçiliğin ve saatin tarihi araştırılmış ve araştırmada iki nesildir saatçilik yapan Köktürk Ailesi’nin hikayesi ve mesleki tecrübeleri yer almıştır. İlk olarak geçmişten bugüne saatin ve saatçiliğin gelişimi araştırıldı. Tarihteki ilk saatten bahsedildi ve Türkiye özelinde saat ve saatçilik detaylı bir şekilde ele alındı. Saatçilik mesleğinin güncel durumunu anlamak adına babası Hacı Köktürk’ün saatçilik mesleğini devam ettiren Köktürk Saatçisi’nin sahibi Barbaros Köktürk ile röportaj yapıldı. Köktürk ’ün mesleğe nasıl başladığı, mesleğin incelikleri ve günümüzdeki yeri araştırıldı.

In this article, the history of watchmaking and watches, one of the professions that are disappearing day by day, was researched and the story and professional experiences of the Köktürk Family, who have been watchmaking for two generations, were included in the research. Firstly, the development of watches and watchmaking from past to present was investigated. The first watch in history was mentioned and watches and watchmaking in Turkey were discussed in detail. In order to understand the current status of the watchmaking profession, an interview was conducted with Barbaros Köktürk, the owner of Köktürk Watchmaker, who continues his father Hacı Köktürk 's watchmaking profession. How Köktürk started his career, the intricacies of the profession and its place today were investigated.
