1965-80 Türkiye'sinde sağ ve sol çatışmalarının toplumsal dinamikleri: röportajlarla geçmişe yolculuk “Gani Özbay"

Türkiye sosyal ve politik tarihine damga vuran en önemli olayların başında gelen sağ sol çatışmaları en çok da öğrenci odaklı gerçekleşmiştir. Sağ ve sol merkezci fikrin temelleri ilk başta Fransa’da atıldı ve Fransa’da başlayan bu olaylar önce Avrupa’da yayıldı ve sonrasında evrensel bir hâl aldı. Avrupalı düşünür ve yazarların fikirlerinden etkilenen birtakım kişiler Türkiye’de bu fikir akımlarının yayılmasına öncülük etti ve Avrupa’da doğan bu fikir akımları Türkiye’ye geldi. Türkiye’de o dönem gerek siyasi gerek ekonomik gerek de sosyal ortamların bulunduğu durumlar bu fikir akımlarının hızla yayılmasına yardımcı oldu. Sağ ve sol merkezci fikirlere ve ideolojilere belirli gruplardan, belirli yaş aralığındaki kişiler öncülük etti. Dönemin öğrenciler üzerinde yarattığı etkiler sonucu sağ-sol hareketleri hız kaybetmeden ilerledi. Öğrenciler çok farklı protestolarda, örgütlenmelerde ve başkaldırı hareketlerinde bulundu. 80’li yılların sonuna gelinmesi ile tansiyon düştü ve 12 Eylül Darbesi bu sancılı ve kaotik sürece son noktayı koydu.

Right-left conflicts, one of the most important events that left their mark on Turkey's social and political history, were mainly student-centered. The foundations of the right and left centrist ideas were first laid in France, and these events that started in France first spread throughout Europe and then became universal. Several people influenced by the ideas of European thinkers and writers pioneered the spread of these intellectual movements in Turkey, and these intellectual movements born in Europe came to Turkey. Turkey's political, economic, and social conditions at that time helped these ideas spread rapidly. Right and left centrist ideas and ideologies were pioneered by people of certain ages from certain groups. As a result of the 3 effects of the period on students, right-left movements progressed without losing momentum. Students participated in many different protests, organizations, and rebellion movements. Tensions decreased by the end of the 80s, and the September 12 Coup ended this painful and chaotic process.
