dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractAraştırmamızın kapsamında Serhat Enyüce’nin buz hokeyi kariyeri ve buz hokeyi sporunun Türkiye’deki gelişimine Enyüce’nin etkileri anlatılmaktadır. Amaç, buz sporlarının gelişimine doğrudan katkısı bulunan Enyüce’nin başarıları ve takım oluşturma süreci hakkında okurları bilgilendirmektir. Birinci elden kaynaklar kapsamında Enyüce ve takımın sporcularıyla gerçekleştirdiğimiz röportajlar, ikinci elden kaynaklar kapsamında gazete haberleri kullanılmıştır. Bu makale, Enyüce hakkında detaylıca yazılan ilk makale olması açısından önem teşkil etmektedir. Türkiye’de sporcularının özellikle son yıllarda başarı gösterdiği bu spor dalının geliştirilmesi konusunda Enyüce, önde gelen isimlerden biri olması sebebiyle araştırmaya değer görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn our research, we demonstrate how ice hockey has been promoted, gained popularity with the help of several works of Serhat Enyüce in Turkey. Our aim is to make people acknowledge Enyüce, who affected the improvement of winter sports and also made people aware of his important achievements, his process of forming hockey teams. Interviews, newspaper articles have been used as firsthand and secondhand sources. His life is worth studying because he had a great impact on the improvement of the sport ice hockey whose players had great achievements.en_US
