dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.

dc.description.abstractBu makalede asker olarak başladığı meslek hayatının çok başlarında bir trafik kazası geçirip felç kalan ve hayatı tümüyle değişen Ozan Bahar'ın hikayesi anlatılacaktır. Kaza geçirdikten sonra askerlikten malulen emekli olan Bahar, akademik kariyer üzerine gitmiş ve kendini Turizm ve Ekonomi alanlarını kombine ettiği dalda geliştirmiştir. Akademik başarılarının yanı sıra 'Engelsiz Yaşam' misyonu doğrultusunda da birçok konuşma yapmış, ödül almış ve ilham olmuştur.
dc.description.abstractIn this article the story of Ozan Bahar whose life has changed after a traffic accident at the beginning of his career as a soldier will be told. Bahar is retired due to disability after he had the accident and he developed himself in academic area by combining Tourism and Economy. Besides his academic success, he made numerous speeches, is awarded and become an inspiration for many with his mission of barrier-free life.
