Kutsal Emanetler, Hz.
Sacred relics constitutes the personal belongings of Muhammad and other important people who have a crucial contribution to Islam. These relics were brought by Sultan Selim and Suleyman the Magnificent in the era of Ottoman Empire and protected very carefully. The relics that were protected thoroughly also in the era of Republic of Turkey, were taken to Niğde which is considered to be the one of the safest places in Anatolia by the order of President İsmet İnönü in 1939, after World War Two began. Sacred relics were kept in Niğde for a while and sended back to İstanbul between 1947 and 1949. These two operations were highly secret missions. As a result of the confidentiality of these missions, there are a lot of arguments about this issue in the past and present. The most significant argument of this issue is whether or not Sacred Relics were held in mosques.en_US
