| dc.description | The History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards. | |

| dc.description.abstract | Türk televizyon dünyasında uzun yıllar izleyicilerin vazgeçilmezi olan eğlence programları, özellikle talk show formatında büyük ilgi görmüştür. Beyazıt Öztürk'ün sunduğu Beyaz Show, bu alanda öne çıkan programlardan biridir. Beyaz Show'un benzersiz tarzı ve izleyicileri üzerindeki etkisi, Türkiye'nin televizyon eğlencesinde bir dönüm noktasıdır. Makalede, Beyaz Show'un etkisiyle Türk eğlence programcılığının gelişimi ele alınmaktadır. Beyazıt Öztürk'ün kariyerindeki başarıları, programın toplumsal etkileri ve yaşanan değişiklikler anlatılmıştır. Makale, Türkiye'deki televizyon eğlencesinin gelişimini anlamak isteyenler için önemli bir başlangıç noktasıdır. Beyaz Show, presented by Beyazıt Öztürk, is one of the featured programs in this area. The article examines the development of Turkish entertainment programming influenced by Beyaz Show. Beyazıt Öztürk's career achievements, social impacts of the show, and the changes made to the program are described. This paper is an important starting point for those who want to understand the development of Turkish television entertainment.
