1995-2000 yıllarında ödenekli ve repertuvarlı devlet tiyatroları

1995 - 2000 yılları arasında Türk siyasetindeki gelişmelerin ve ülkenin sosyo-ekonomik durumunun dönemin sanat anlayışına ve sanatı icra etme biçimine etkilerinin olduğunu görüyoruz. Bu projenin amacı, belirlenen dönem içerisinde, ödenekli ve repertuvarlı devlet tiyatrolarının durumunu incelemektir. Dönemin siyasi gelişmeleri bir yandan hangi oyunların oynanacağına yön verirken, aynı zamanda da belirli içeriklerin sansürlenmesine sebep olduğunu görüyoruz. önemli makamların halktaki itibarını zedeleyeceği düşünülen oyunlar da aynı sebepten ötürü engellenmiştir. Bunların yanı sıra, dönemin sanat ve sanatçı algısının tiyatroda azınlık olarak görülen kesime bakış açısını etkilemiştir. Ayrıca özel tiyatroların ve devlet tiyatrolarının devletten aldıkları ödeneklerin karşılaştırılması da o dönemde revaçta olan özelleştirme politikasının sahne sanatlarına olan etkisini ortaya koymaktadır.

We see that the developments in Turkish politics and the country’s socio-economic status between the years of 1995-2000 have impact on the era’s understanding of art and the way it’s performed. The aim of this project is to investigate the conditions of funded and repertory theatres in the specified period. We see that the period’s political developments not only determine the type of plays that will be staged, but they also cause censorship for particular content. Plays that were thought to damage the reputation of significant authorities among the public were also banned for the same reason. Besides these, it also influenced the period’s understanding of art and artist’s perspective on the fraction that was considered as the minority. Also, the comparison of allowance from the government for both private and state theatres expresses the effects of privatization policy, which was in demand during that period, on performing arts.
