1960'lı yıllarda askeri bando ve resmigeçitler

Abstract

Türkiye’de 1960’lı yıllardaki toplum yapısında milli birlik ve beraberlik aynı zamanda da askeri güç, kuvvet ve askeri birlik yadsınamaz derecede mühim bir yere sahipti. Bu yapının oluşumundaki en büyük etkenlerden biri ise şüphesiz ki o dönemdeki resmigeçitler ve bayramlarda boy gösteren askeri bandonun, milli beraberliği kuvvetlendiren gücüydü. Elbette ki o dönemde yaşanan çeşitli olaylar toplum yapısında, resmigeçitlerde ve askeri bandonun da içinde bulunduğu askeri yapıda çeşitli değişikliklere yol açtı. Bu araştırmanın amacı, 27 Mayıs 1960 darbesinden sonra değişen siyasi ve sosyal yapının askeri bandonun üzerindeki etkisini, bando eğitiminin içeriğini, bandonun amacını ve kullanımını, askeri bandonun genel özelliklerini ve resmi törenlerdeki genel atmosferi mercek altına almaktır. Tüm bunları çeşitli birincil ve ikincil kaynaklara ek olarak özellikle o dönemde askeri bandoda görev almış olan Naci Pekcan’dan aldığımız değerli bilgiler ışığında incelemek ana hedeftir.

National unity and solidarity, martial power and military unity were undeniably important for the community structure in 1960’s Turkey. One of the biggest factors to constitute this structure, without a doubt, was the power of the military band, which was strengthening the national unity. In the mentioned period, variety of events caused various changes in the community structure, pageantry, and the military structure, including military band. This research aims to observe the effects of the political and social structure, which were changed after the military coup of May 27, 1960, on the military band and also to observe the content of education, aim, use, and generic attributes of the military band and the general atmosphere in pageantries. The main purpose is to observe them by variety of primary and secondary sources and especially with the precious experiences of Naci Pekcan, who was one of the members of the military band in 1960’s.
