90’lar İzmir’inde, Mavi Nota’nın gözünden müzik dünyası ve toplum ile klasik müziğin ilişkisi

Müge Sağlam Ongun, Kayseri’de doğmuştur. Çocukluğu boyunca ailesinin tayinlerinden dolayı Türkiye’nin farklı illerinde yaşamıştır. Küçük yaştan itibaren müzik hep hayatının içindeymiş. Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi’nden mezun olmuş ve farklı müzik okullarında eğitmen olduktan sonra 1990’da Mavi Nota’yı kurmuştur. Bu makalede Mavi Nota’nın kuruluşu incelenirken 80'lerden 2000'lere kadar olan süreçte Türkiye’de müziğin nasıl bir noktada olduğu da tartışılacaktır. Müzik eğitimi almanın etkileri, kadınların müzik sektöründeki yeri, toplum ve müzik arasındaki bağ, müzik eğitiminin yaygınlığı ve bu faktörlerin zamanla Türkiye’de yer yer nasıl değiştiği Müge Sağlam Ongun ile yapılan röportaj ışığında incelenecektir.

Müge Sağlam Ongun was born in Kayseri. Due to her parent’s appointments to other cities, she lived in numerous cities in Turkey. She always had a passion for music from a young age. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University Conservatory and becoming a music instructor in different music schools, she founded Mavi Nota in 1990. While examining the founding process of Mavi Nota, this article will also discuss the point Turkey was in 80’s and 2000’s in terms of music. The effects of music education, the place of women in the music industry, the bond between society and music, the prevalence of music and how these factors changed throughout the years in Turkey will be examined in the light of the interview we had with Müge Sağlam Ongun.
