Türkiye’nin ilk blues müzik gruplarından “Blue Blues Band” ve 90’lı yıllarda Türk blues ve rock müziği ile etkileşimi

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de ortaya çıkmış ilk blues türü müzik yapan grup olan Blue Blues Band’in, Türkiye’de rock müzik tarihi bağlamında konumunu ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Başta blues türünün ortaya çıkışına ve rock müziğin teşkil ettiği öneme değinilmiştir. Devamında Anadolu Rock’ın ortaya çıkışıyla Türkiye’de rock müziğin icra edilmeye başlanması ve gelişim aşamaları ortaya konmuştur. Bunun yanında, rock müziğin bir alt kültür olarak dönemin sosyal, ekonomik ve politik şartlarıyla girdiği etkileşime de değinilmiştir. 1990’lı yıllar ile Türkiye’de rock müziğin geçirdiği dönüşümden bahsedilirken aynı dönem ortaya çıkan Blue Blues Band’in kuruluş, gelişim ve dağılma evreleri aktarılmış ve grubun yaklaşık on yıllık serüveni boyunca gruba dahil olmuş tüm üyeler bireysel olarak incelenirken grup adına teşkil ettikleri önem de ortaya konulmuştur. Son olarak, Blue Blues Band sonrası Türkiye’de rock müziğin gerek tür özellikleri bağlamında gerek kültürel anlamda nasıl bir doğrultuda ilerlediği konusunda değerlendirmelere yer verilmiş ve Blue Blues Band’in sonraki jenerasyonlara olan etkisine değinilmiştir.

In this project, it is aimed to locate the first blues music band of Türkiye, Blue Blues Band, under the context of Türkiye’s rock music history. Firstly, the occurrence of blues music and its significance as a genre is mentioned. This is followed by the emergence of Anadolu Rock as a synthesis of rock music and ethnic Anatolian sounds, which is considered to be the very first examples of rock music executions. In addition, rock music and the subculture that occurred within is addressed considering its influence on the social, political and economic atmospheres. The 1990s were referred to be period when the subgenre of rock music that is executed and consumed has started to differ, in which Blue Blues Band made its debut. The Band constitutes the main focus of this study. The foundation, formation and disintegration periods of Blue Blues Band were handled while putting emphasis on the individual significance of each member of the band. Lastly, the characteristics of the post Blue Blues Band period of rock music in Türkiye were discussed while demonstrating the effects of the Band on the next generations.
