Abstract

Bu makalede 46. hükümetin hazineden sorumlu Devlet Bakanı, 47. ve 48. hükümetlerin Maliye Bakanı olarak hizmet veren ve Anavatan Partisi'nin de kurucu üyelerinden olan Adnan Kahveci'nin siyasi kariyeri işlenmiştir. Bu bağlamda gazete haberleri, meclis tutanakları ve Kahveci'nin özel kalemi ile yapılan röportaj başvurulan temel birincil kaynaklar olmuştur. Adnan Kahveci'nin Türkiye'nin yakın siyasi tarihinde yer edinmesinin sebepleri araştırılmıştır. Devlet Bakanlığındaki ve Maliye Bakanlığındaki icraatları, halkın memnuniyeti, siyasi kişiliğini farklı kılan özellikleri ve bakanlık dışı projeleri değerlendirilmiştir. In this report, the political career of Adnan Kahveci, who served as the Minister of Finance responsible from the treasury in the 46th Government, the Minister of State in the 47th and 48th governments, and one of the founding members of Motherland Party, was studied. News reports, parliamentary minutes, and an interview with the personal secretary of Kahveci were the primary sources mainly referred to in this regard. The reasons as to how he earned himself a place in the near history of Turkey were investigated. His works as the Minister of State and Minister of Finance, the contentedness of the commune, the features which render his political persona different, and his works other than his governmental duties were evaluated.
