dc.descriptionThe History of Turkey course (HIST200) is a requirement for all Bilkent undergraduates. It is designed to encourage students to work in groups on projects concerning any topic of their choice that relates to the history of Turkey. It is designed as an interactive course with an emphasis on research and the objective of investigating events, chronologically short historical periods, as well as historic representations. Students from all departments prepare and present final projects for examination by a committee, with 10 projects chosen to receive awards.en_US

dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada, Ankara'nın Yenişehir semtinde kurulan yerel spor kulübünün kuruluşu, kulübün üç ayrı dönemleri ve bu dönemlerdeki değişimleri, kulübün iç yapısı ve yerel halk ve Türkiye üzerindeki sosyo-kültürel etkileri incelenmiştir. Yenişehir Spor Kulübü'nün karşılaştığı engeller, sponsorluk anlaşmaları, başarıları ve günümüzdeki faaliyetleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Yazılı ve sözlü kaynaklardan faydalanılarak araştırma sonlanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis paper is reserched for the purpose of introducing the national importance of the Ankara Yenişehir Sport Club, the history of its establishment, three different time periods of the club and the changes faced in each time spans, the internal structure of the club and the socio-cultural influences of the club upon the local citizens and Turkey. This research is focused as well on the challenges countered by the club, its sponsorship agreements, its achievements and its activities at the present time. This paper is finalized by the help of written and verbal sources.en_US
