Abstract

4. Murat operası Türk opera tarihinde çok önemli bir yere sahiptir. İlk lirik Türk operası özelliği taşıyan bu yapıt, sadece bir sanat eseri olarak ele alınmamalıdır. Operada anlatılan dönem seksenli yıllara benzerlik göstermiş, iki farklı dönemin kesişen dinamikleri ortaya konmuş, bu da operanın toplumda siyasal ve sosyolojik olarak da karşılık bulmasını sağlamıştır. Çalışmada bu coğrafyanın önemli hakikatlerden birisi farklı bir konuyla ele alınacak, onun sanattaki yansımalarının izini sürülecektir. Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde amaçlanan eser hakkında bilgi verip onun Türk sanatındaki yeri ve önemini tartışmak, onun üzerinden sanatın işlevini ortaya koymaktır. İkinci bölümde hedeflenen bu eseri yaratan sanatçıların Türk Sanatındaki yeri ve önemini göstermek, o dönemde Türk operasının halktaki karşılığını aktarmaktır. Üçüncü ve son bölümde ise Dördüncü Murat Operası’nın bıraktığı etkiler, basındaki yansımaları ele alınmıştır.

4. Murat's opera has a very important place in the history of Turkish opera. This work, which has the characteristics of the first lyrical Turkish opera, should not be considered only as a work of art. The period narrated in the opera was similar to the eighties, the intersecting dynamics of two different periods were revealed, and this enabled the opera to find a political and sociological response in the society. In this study, one of the important truths of this geography will be discussed with a different subject, and its reflections in art will be traced. In the first part of this study, the aim is to give information about the work, to discuss its place and importance in Turkish art, and to reveal the function of art through it. In the second part, the aim is to show the place and importance of the artists who created this work in Turkish Art, and to convey the public equivalent of Turkish opera at that time. In the third and last part, the effects of Murat the Fourth Opera and its reflections in the press are discussed.
