Abstract

Bu makalede Türkiye Cumhuriyeti tarihinin en büyük askeri harekâtı olan ve 1974 yılında düzenlenen Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı’nın Hava harekâtı ve harekâtın Türk Havacılık Sanayii üzerindeki etkileri incelenecektir. Bu harekât adadaki Türk birliklerine destek sağlamış olması, çıkarma operasyonlarına yardım etmiş ve savunma hatlarında çözülmelere yol açması sebepleriyle önem teşkil etmektedir. Bu çalışma, Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı’nın hava operasyonunu ve bu harekâtın günümüz Türk Havacılık Sanayisine olan etkilerinin inceleyen bir sözlü tarih çalışmasıdır.

This article will examine the effects of the largest military operation in the history of the Republic of Turkiye, the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation, on its air operations and the Turkish Aviation Industry. The operation is significant for having provided support to Turkish forces on the island, aiding in amphibious operations, and causing breakdowns in defense lines. The article will focus on the air operations and the momentum they provided for the development of the Turkish aviation industry. This article is an oral history study that investigates the air operations during the Cyprus Peace Operation and their impact on today's Turkish Aviation Industry.
