Ankara Şeker Fabrikası

Abstract

Ankara'nın Etimesgut ilçesinde yer alan Ankara Şeker Fabrikası, 1962 yılında faaliyete geçti. Bu fabrika kurulduğu günden bu yana hem Etimesgut'a hem de bünyesinde görev yapan çalışanlarına ve onların ailelerine birçok olanak sundu. Ülke ve ilçe açısından önemli bir üretim merkezi olması fabrikayı ekonomik bağlamda, sunduğu sosyal ve kültürel imkanlarla ise çalışanları ve onların aileleri adına değerli bir yer haline getirdi. Fabrikanın kuruluşundan önce örnek köy statüsünde olan Etimesgut'un 1990 yılında ilçe statüsü kazanmasında da fabrika, bölgeye doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak sağladığı sosyal ve kültürel katkılar ile önemi rol oynadı.

Ankara Sugar Factory, which is located in Etimesgut district of Ankara, started its operations in 1962. Since its establishment, this factory has provided many opportunities both to Etimesgut and its employees and their families. The fact that it is an important production center for the country and the district made the factory a valuable place on behalf of its employees and their families in the economic context and with the social and cultural opportunities it offers. Prior to the establishment of the factory, Etimesgut, which was an exemplary village, also played a significant role in gaining district status in 1990 with its direct and indirect social and cultural contributions to the region.
