Abstract

İnsanların kendilerini ifade etme biçimi olarak kullandıkları yazısız iletişim aracı olan sanat, nesilden nesile öğretilmiştir. Bu eğitim süreci, tarih öncesi çağlarda mağara duvarlarına çizilen resimlerden başlayarak günümüzdeki modern güzel sanatlar fakültelerine kadar gelmiştir. Türk toplumundaysa sanat, tarih boyunca önceliğini kaybetmemiştir. Osmanlı Döneminde temelleri atılan sanat öğretisi, Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebî’nin kurulmasıyla daha da hız kazanmıştır. Cumhuriyetin ilanını ile önem kazanan modernleşme çalışmaları Türk toplumunu sanat alanında daha atik olmaya teşvik etmiştir. 1982 yılında kurulan Hacettepe Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi (HÜGSF), Ankara’da sanat alanında çağdaşlaşma adımını ilk atan kurum olmuştur. HÜGSF’nin kurulması, Ankara’daki sanat eğitiminde ortaya çıkmış olan boşluğu kapatmış ve Türk toplumunda yüzyıllardır süregelen sanat eğitimini devam ettirmiştir. Fakültenin; başta gençler olmak üzere, Türkiye’de sanat ve sanatçılığa katkıları olmuştur. HÜGSF, kurulduğu ilk günlerden bu yana sadece sanat eğitimi ile sınırlı kalmayıp aynı zamanda o dönemde yaratıcılığını kaybetmiş olan sanatı da kurtarmıştır. Kuruluşundan sonra birçok başarıya imza atan kurum, günümüzde de faaliyetlerine devam etmektedir.

Art, which is an unwritten communication tool that people use as a way of expressing themselves, has been taught from generation to generation. This educational process, starting from the pictures drawn on cave walls in prehistoric times, has reached today's modern fine arts faculties. In Turkish society, art has not lost its priority throughout history. The art doctrine, the foundations of which were laid in the Ottoman Period, gained momentum with the establishment of Sanayi-i Nefise Mektebî. The modernization efforts, which gained importance with the proclamation of the Republic, encouraged the Turkish society to be more agile in the field of art. Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts (HUFFA), founded in 1982, was the first institution to take the step of modernization in the field of art in Ankara. The establishment of HUFFA closed the gap in art education in Ankara and continued the art education that has been going on for centuries in Turkish society. The faculty contributed to art and artistry in Turkey, especially young people. Since the first days of its establishment, HUFFA has not only been limited to art education, but has also saved art, which lost its creativity at that time. The institution, which has achieved many successes after its establishment, continues its activities today.
